
In addition to her performing background, she has taught piano for a variety of students, from beginner to advanced. She especially enjoys working with young children and helping them discover the joys of making music.
Taiko earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Piano Performance at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth where she was awarded the Bolen Piano Scholarship as well as the Nordan Fine Arts Scholarship and studied under the instruction of world renowned professors John Owings and Jose Feghali.
Taiko is a frequent accompanist for many middle school, high school, university ensembles and instrumental soloists in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In addition, she has performed for many of the Grand Prairie Arts Council’s Musical Theatre productions and is the staff pianist for the St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Grand Prairie.
