Through the journey of learning music, students will be able to develop life skills such as self discipline and confidence as well as build a solid foundation in music theory and technique specific to their instrument.
A variety of performance opportunities are given through out the year for students to apply their skills including formal recitals, student jams, holiday concerts, and nursing home performances. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about song writing, guitar building and modification, digital recording, music careers and most of all about developing in to competent musicians.
